Home Learning

A great deal of research has been carried out to explore the importance of providing rich and stimulating learning environments for children, which includes home learning environments.  Such research focuses predominantly on how learning environments compliment each other through the partnership arrangements which are developed and nurtured between families and the settings they choose for their children.

There's nothing out there at present to inform us or guide us on how to deal with or manage enforced home learning.  These are going to be challenging times for parents as they try to support, educate, and nurture their children through these extended periods of isolation from family members, friends and those in their community.

We will do our very best to provide as many activity ideas as possible to help our parents during these challenging and unprecedented times.  This page will be updated regularly with resources to support you.  Provide feedback if you can to help us develop resources already published and to give ideas for new resources.

We can't wait for the Mill House Family to be back together again.
